so I watched this movie again tonite on HBO and screamed and gasped and got all gitty and cried and cuddled myself and got embarrassed and smiled and went through all the emotions i felt the first and second time i saw it and still feel when I think/daydream about it... but now I always feel a sort of dread watching it because like I've said before for numerous and valid reasons; this film should have won best picture at the Oscars especially over the vile phoney Crash and it was totally robbed! This film is so timeless and heartwrenching. My gawd I really love it; its in my top 20 or 25 'best' movies, i just think its that great. and not enough credit is given to the supporting actors like Anne Hathaway who was really good I think.

oh and p.s. I love Jake and he can be my bottom in the tent anytime!

I think its an excellent film. But I don't want to be depressed, so I prolly wont watch it again.

thought it was depressing... Thought Heath should've won an Oscar for it.. He was fantastic. VERY sad story.

I liked it a lot more on the second viewing, I really felt for the characters this time, the final conversation between Heath and Jack with the flashback to their younger selfs embracing almost killed me.

I still think Happy Together is superior though. They are not really compareable aside from being love stories that involve a homosexual couple, but still, Happy Together felt more realistic.
