Thanks SVZ! I felt bad for her until I saw that interview. Now, I'm convinced she has some mental retardation as well as some kind of a personality disorder.

She is what she is, and is not trying to be better than where she came from.
She is a young kid thrust into an unimaginable situation. The girl is worth over 100 million dollars. She never even went to high school. She may not be very articulate , but it is hard to be interviewed about your personal life, and not your career. I thought she did okay. I felt bad for her too. She may be able to sing, but that doesn't make her a smart person. And she is def totally inappropriate in every social way. But that's her. I was touched by her dumbness and akwardness with the prepiest man on the planet. Gawd I can't stand Lauer, and the fact that he did not wear socks to this interview made me hate him even more. I think she is a hillbilly raising her babies with a douchebag husband like half the U.S. She just got lucky!

I actually liked that interview. sure, she was lying as hell when she was speaking of her husband - pretty obvious, when you want to cover an unpleasant topic you tend to say too much and give too much details, just like when Matt asked her about Kevin living in the basement and she started talking about how hard he works, and so on. but I got the impression how haunted she must feel with all those paparazi following her, it's too much for anybody to take. and she made me feel that even though she may not be the smartest person there she is trying to do her best. look how much time she spends with her son, it's obvious she loves him. and look at the comment to every photo on this forum, peolpe always ask questions to undermine her abilities as a mum, eg. is SPF wearing SPF? come on, how can you be so sure he isn't!! actually made me think of her not so much of a dumbass as before the interview, more of an insecure girl trying to pull through...

I liked her in the interview. She has a sweet and innocent nature. She still has the "It" factor. She did act sort of "little girl-ish" when faced with tough questions.

I felt for her sitch and think people pick on her too much.

I got SO mad when I watched this...like she couldnt take responsibility for a single thing involving SP....its the paps fault that she drove with him on her lap, its NYC's streets fault for her tripping, of course it wasn't the too long jeans and four inch platform shoes...WTF is wrong with this trashy bitch? Can't she take responsibility for a single thing she does? Cannot she not say, yes it was wrong for me to do that, it was a lapse in judgement and I regret it. FUCK NO!! I hate her, and I feel no sympathy for her whatsoever. She is very and truly ignorant, and stupid, and obviously lacking any judgement. Her "outfit" was embarrassing, I was embarrassed for her, nasty tacky see through low cut shirt and short short denim skirt and flip flops. OMG....I was so distracted by that big black smudge on her eyelid I had a hard time listening to anything she said. Same for that unbrushed bleached fried ratty hair. WTF is wrong with her!! She couldn't put her hair back into a neat bun, and put on a casual maternity outfit or suit or something?? This is primetime NEWS and she looks like she jumped straight out of Trailer Trash Weekly. ETA: if she wants privacy so bad, WHY WHY WHY did they come out with that disasterous "Chaotic" AND sell it on DVD? Such a liar!!

Couple of things:

All the mistakes she made with SP, she justified, "we're country," "My brother was in a ton of accidents, had to be airlifted," etc... Yes Britney, we all rode in cars with no seatbelts and rode bikes with no helmets. We know that. however, that's just not something you do anymore. I would have had a whole lot more respect if she said, "I was in a hurry and messed up. " or "I tripped in the street, give me a break."

The clothing line, Matt said, "You do like business." Britney knows shit about business. Her manager came to her and said, "How about since you're a mom, we make a baby clothing line?" Britney says, "OK." Like it was Britney's business savvy that came up with it....

Kevin pays for everything. He's a man, he's here to support us. Yeah, there are so many people out there striving to be backup dancers for the lucrative payouts. Sign me up!!

I cant believe how stupid she is. I'm talking about the way she speaks. She hardly makes sense and doesn't even sound like she believes what shes saying. And I dont buy at all that her marriage is 'AWESOME'.

She REALLY needed to look better for that interview. Everyone I speak to doesn't comment on feeling sorry for her, they all say 'she looked like trash'.

Could it be due to all the smoking and coffee drinking she has done in past 5 or 6 yrs? It sticks in my head how like Mariah Carey or was it Whitney Houston refused to enter a room where any kind of smoke was in the air. You know taking care of your voice and not abusing it with harsh things.
