I actually thought David Hernandez was the best one of the night, singing that Celine Dion song.

I hope the girls are a little more upbeat, though. To me, the 80s were about fun, cheesy, karaoke style music and I didn't like seeing so many of the guys doing ballads or slower songs. I liked that Orlando Bloom (don't remember his real name) actually took a chance and did a song in the real spirit of the 80s, even if it wasn't the best performance.

Some songs I think would be good for the girls are:

Jack and Diane
Sweet Child O' Mine
Like a Prayer
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
What I Like About You
It's Raining Men

and you know that Amanda will probably do another typical, angry, raspy performance. I think she'll do Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)- the Marilyn Manson version.

Chikezie and Luke Menard (that guy is super cheesy) are going home Thursday.

I'm not a fan of Dave Cook, but his version of "Hello" was fantastic. I also thought Jason Castro was good. They were the best of the night, as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with Michael Johns being in the finals, but think David Archuleta will remain til the end, if not take the #1 spot. That boy is talented.

I'm hoping that Danny Noriega gets kicked off soon. He's this years Sanjaya, with even more attitude.

I thought all the guys did pretty good last night, except for that whiny Luke. Dave Cook was very impressive, and surprisingly unboring for a change. The Miley Cyrus lookalike (Danny Noriega) is not a great singer, but is fun to watch. David Archuleta was wonderful as always.... his voice is so beautiful!

I really don't like any of the girls, but Syesha is alright. That Asia'h chick really gets on my nerves, and I can't look at Kady Malloy without thinking "Jodie Sweetin". Amanda's voice is not pretty, sounds too much like Melissa Ethridge, but she did a decent job tonight for a change (for her anyway). Brooke White did okay, but I still don't like her much-- plus I think she must be lying about her age.

I really loved Dave Cook's rendition of 'Hello'. It was excellent.
That song really could be a hit today.


I really want Danny out; argh. He can't sing.
