That was annoying. I got the impression someone off-camera told her to can it because we haven't heard a peep out of her since! Well, all except for that singing thing...

Admittedly, I was disappointed that David Archuleta - arguably the one most want to see - got so little face time last night. Why were were forced to see so much of Syesha???? It's a sure sign she's on her way tonight.

I wasn't blown away by the talent, but sat through it as it was such a great cause. I thought the opening number was the best part of the night followed by Carrie Underwood's performance.

Hopefully their efforts were worth it and they raised a lot of $$$.

I have a download of Fergie singing 'Barracuda' by herself and it's awesome! I think she did a great job last night especially considering Ann can't hit some of those notes like she used to.

OT: How awesome was it to see the "So You Think You Can Dance" dancers last night? Loved it!

I give alot of props to Teri Hatcher. She's no singer, but she got up there and gave it a go! Fergie doing Barracuda was fabulous - although, I really wasn't paying attention to the song as much as I was to how great she looked in those pants - GEEZUS

Simon is so HOT.

That's all I have to say about that.

Oh and Miley is way too sexual for 15. I couldn't believe the facial expressions she was making at times.

Mariah looked gorgeous. She is a very beautiful woman and I could focus on that when she wasn't stuffed into clothes too small for her. Her outfit was very nice; she doesn't need to be flashy.

i thought the show was ok this year. Many of the performances we're that great in my opinion.

I loved Fergie and Hearts performance though... wow! fergs vocals were absolutely amazing last night.

oh, and mariah looked pretty good too.

ITA-Mariah looked great! I also loved Carrie Underwoods gown-so unusual. Does anyone know who designed it?
