I watched last night but missed some. That Jordan is beautiful.

I wondered how Leslie made it to the finals. I watched a bit of Kelly Pickler. She looked like Tammy Wynette!

As others have stated before, Antonella doesn't deserve to be there- and she and her best friend annoyed the hell out of me from the very beginning. My pick for the win is Melinda, she's got a great voice. I am also annoyed by Sanjaya and how he is still there and AJ is gone. What is this guys appeal? He's not even cute....

Sanjaya is getting the granny and tween vote. Same thing happened with Chicken Little last season and that red head goober the season before. He will probably make it to about top 8 or so.

Truth be told... Sanjaya creeps me out. He reminds me too much of Michael Jackson; especially this past week with the fedora and ponytail.

Yeah, i felt really awkward and uncomfortable watching him perform. He really was creepy. The poor kid just doesn't understand what the people want. He just likes to sing.

Sanjaya's time is up. Jared can go home, too

^I agree. Those two would be my picks to go home, as well.
I think if Sanjaya were older he'd be more confident in his talent and would pick better songs.

Sundance...he really needs to be more consistent.
Overall, the guys weren't that good tonight.

The guys were very uneven tonight and you'd think by now that the vocal coaches would be pounding into them to have some vocal variety instead of full volume every note. Very boring. All have bad lazy singers habits to overcome.

Catching up on DVR here, as usual, and here's my commentary:

Blake the Beatbox was good - fun, different, acts like he's having a good time, sounds good.

Sanjaya is a beautiful girl, just gorgeous, but the singing is not great, and ITA re: the Michael Jackson vibe.

Sundance.... uh, not too good but he reminded me of how much I love Eddie Vedder's voice & I'm probably gonna dig up my old Pearl Jam cd

Chris - didn't like it, sounded whiny

Jared - nope, him neither, sounded strained

Brandon - I loved the song (I just want to celebrate, another day of living.. etc), & can't believe Simon gave him grief for it - I enjoyed his performance

Phil the Bald Guy - some very very bad moments in that song & it still hurts me to look at him - no matter what he wears, he looks like a homeless person

Chris - Chris Sligh is fast becoming My Man, and I thought he sounded outstanding, and I loved the song, whatever it was. Again, the judges dogged him for his song choice - I don't get it

^^^...im with you...i like chris Sligh and I think Brandon is the cutest thing ever!!
i thought Sanjaya was a MJ look a like from the beginning. the voice!
And were we really surprised that he could HULA??
the bald guy looks weird. I cant look at him. He has too much blush on.
    Blake is different and funny.
Chris is sooo cute. Little dimples and round face...so sweet.
the others dont get anything from me...

Oh Sanjaya. What a sad fate to be going through puberty on national television.
Baby, by the time you have kids and they're in school, no one will care about you.

Such an embarassingly gayish puberty on national television. I don't think his balls have dropped yet either..

If America really wants a female Sanjaya, they should have kept his sister in the competition and sent Michael Jackson "Heeeee..heeeee"ing all the way home
