Before she gets killed or she kills? There's quite a distinction there. I go with the latter.
As for my pick, I think Catherine MacPhee is the contender at this point.

I love the guy how has the grey/silver hair. The twins that made it are drama queens in my opinion. That one dude needs to keep his mouth shut, "My spirit is broken". Whatever.

Re: American Idol - Season 5
Yay! I'm glad to see someone else is voting for Mandisa! LOVE.HER.
Also, mediocre country singers can stop butchering Martina McBride songs. It hurts.

Re: American Idol - Season 5
I loved hearing the very last girl, (mom is a singing coach or something) but I didn't like watching her. Too spastic & goofy looking, like a female Joe Cocker, which is not attractive for a young girl.
Mandisa is wonderful, she's a great vocalist, and manages to be fun & elegant at the same time. I love me some Paris, I could just eat her up. Opera girl needs to GO, but I would like to see one more week to see what else she could do. The Poser aka Drama Queen needs to go. Her head swells more with every second of tv exposure.
That really pretty one with the dark hair (sang Because the Night) is not quite as pretty when she sings. Voice isn't great. If she goes this week, we're likely to see her in Playboy within the year, so she'll be set either way. Buh Bye.
Kelly, the Cryer whose daddy is in prison, didn't sound too good tonight, but I hope she gets better. I am still jealous of her itty-bitty waist, though.
The rest are all blended together in my brain now. I'll watch it on the dvr again tomorrow...

Re: American Idol - Season 5
I loved Elliot and Ace. My gosh Ace sure does have that "X" factor Simon was talking about. Yeah X marks the spot on him. He is sexy as hell hope he can keep it up.
Taylor is his name, he needs to stop squating so much. Im thinking he needs to use the toilet.
The 16 yr old with the glasses and the dude who sang the Barry Manilow song need to hit the road in my opinion.

Re: American Idol - Season 5
aww, that kid with that glasses looks about 7 years old, don't hurt him too bad. Honestly Barry Manilow boy and the crooner can go. The crooner is just so affected and weird. I'm not a fan of Taylor either, there's just something about him, I think it mighta been when he pulled out the harmonica and did the act before he was told he was in, annoyed the crap outta me.
Ace however is GORGEOUS and he sounded SO good singing George Michael. He has a great tone to his voice. First guy sounded good too. I liked Chris Daughtry during auditions, but he was very forgettable tonight.
