^ I didn't say good, but considering how bad the rest of this show has been, it wasn't bad in comparison.

NoDay - I agree that Paris was good in comparison to most of the rest of the show, but that ain't sayin' shit. Truly.

I'm a huge AI fan and I think this is the absolute worst show I have ever seen.

And the "funky white boy" Elliott needs to NEVER do that again. Never ever never.

I was actually looking forward to AI (the BF makes me watch) with current songs and I thought they all laid an egg!

Whew. Just got finished watching it on my DVR. Definitely not a great night for any of them, and not a good night for most.

    Lisa - yes, painful

Kelly - ruined a fun song & not a good song choice for AI

Ace - "drops of jupiter" is a great song, but rock? oh & stop reaching for & staring at the camera at the end of EVERY song, it's now predictable which means it's a half-inch away from being ridiculous

Taylor - boring song, sang it ok

Chris - ok, but I've never heard that song & it didn't impress me, and agree w/Randy, he was sharp a lot (looks like he wanted to clarify that Johnny Cash/Live thing, huh?)

Mandisa - ok, whatever, sounded like shrieking here & there

    Elliot - didn't love it

Bucky - perfect song for him, but he's still Bucky, ok at best

    Paris - meh, ok

Katherine - good but not as good as Xina

Elliot, Paris, and Mandisa were my favorites.

Lisa needs to go home NOW. Though I'd love to see Kellie go first, I just don't think I'll get that lucky.

My jaw dropped at what Paula said. I know she didn't mean it in that way but she's gotta know people will interpret it that way. Other than that, she looked/sounded great tonight so that was good.

Mandisa's version of Mary Mary's "Praise You" was excellent. I love that song. And Taylor was sooo much better like Paula said something to the effect of stay behind the mic and sing. He doesnt need to do all the dancing and squatting.
Katharine began weak but ended strong in my opinion. I voted for Mandisa.

    Yeah. What did you think?

I love her, but she brings it on herself sometimes. The one night she's actually giving good critiques she goes and says that.

Did you think it sounded as bad as I did?

Personally I didnt think it sounded that bad. I didnt get it at first what Simon was meaning but then when Ryan asked Ace about it I sort of understood. I thought well at least she didnt say like "hey would you like to compare scars sometime? Ill tell you how I got mine if you tell me and let me kiss yours" HEHE

I thought it was hilarious when Simon told Howard Stern that they have to wheel Paula into the studio like Hannibal Lecter to keep her away from all the young guys on the show.

According to a website that supposedly calculates who is going to be leaving each week (DialIdol) says that with their 4% margin of error EVERY contestant except Taylor, Chris, and Pickler are in danger this week. That's insane.

Miss Pickler is a real sweet 'un, but she's got the scared, dead eyes on stage every time I see her perform. This platform is waaay to big and important for such a naive performer. She's not gonna win, bless her li'l heart.
