    Default Harper's Island

Is anyone going to watch this new miniseries? I looks like a modern take on And Then There Were None - a bunch of people gathered on an island that are being murdered one by one.

Looks good! I'm looking for something to watch over the summer. I'm really disappointed they didn't renew Swingtown for this summer.

Yeah I saw a promo for it last night, for the first time. I set my DVR to record it. It looked like it has potential to be good, so we shall see.

Hotcnom, And Then There Were None has always been one of my favorite books, and it was the first thing I thought of when I saw the promos as well! I can't wait to watch it!

I'm watching it right now. It's good, but some of the people (Abby and the blonde chick) really can't act!! I like Christopher Gorham, so I'm glad to see him in something!

I'm DVRing this and Southland. I've got 1 spot open on my DVR in that time slot on a normal week and whichever I like better I'll keep recording.

I am finding it sort of tiresome.

Watched it today on DVR and I like it. It will be a good fill in show this summer when my other shows wind up.

I like it well enough to continue watching. The first episode of any series is never as good as the rest, imo. I have confidence it will get better, and I like the premise for the most part.

OT, but Abby's nostrils drive me crazy. Its the same as with LeeAnn Rimes. I hate when nostrils travel up the side of the nose, you shouldn't be able to see them when you look straight at someone. Oh well.

I think Abby may have been involved in the original killings. She fled town after they happened, and now that she's back they are starting up again. I just don't buy her whole innocent victim BS.

I also think someone from the wedding (either the bride or groom) was involved- either as an accomplice or as the motivation for doing it (love triangle situation) and that is the reason the wedding is being terrorized now.

This show is like Dawson's Creek meets Agatha Christie.

Abby was a child when her mother was killed, though, right?

I don't know. I got the impression that she was a teenager, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, now that I think about it, you may be right...the killings were 6 years ago or so, right? So she was around 16 by that timeline. I could've sworn that when they showed a flashback of her looking up at her mother hanging from a tree, she was a child (around 10?). But I've been known to have a faulty memory.
