I just saw this TV show and it's quite extraordinary. These people are even more psycho than pageant moms.

Oh yes! A gf of mine told me about that milleau years ago. Apparently death threats issued and hurting each others dogs can be part for the course. Worst than the fan base of any male heartthrob or pageant mommy..

One (human) bitch was yelling at her dog for coming second in some lame rural dogshow and the dog looked like it was ready to crawl under the nearest truck to get away from Mommy Dearest. There's a whackjob woman who trains her weimeraner (sp?) to do party tricks AND obedience shows. We saw her do a doggie pageant and then went to a private birthday party to make her dog perform tricks. The dog was exhausted and didn't cooperate at all in front of a bunch of stone-faced 5yr olds AND she had the nerve to charge the parents $500 yes FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS for 30 embarrassing minutes of a desperate madwoman yelling at her unresponsive dog. But BEST of all are a couple of screaming queens, Ryan and Brandon, who own a couple of small, hairy rats, I mean dogs and who bicker and dramatise all the time. I thought it was a parody but it's for real. They have (another) bitchslap fight on the way to Riverdog (that is not a typo) class and Ryan takes one of the dogs hostage so Brandon calls the police..... it's priceless. You MUST catch this show.

This aired on Bravo last year -- loved it! What a riot. I really feel for the poor pooches. The people are all total nuts!
