'Will and Grace' stars in denial
Quote:
The stars of TV comedy WILL AND GRACE are in disbelief that the show is coming to an end.
The much-loved sitcom, which sees ERIC McCORMACK and DEBRA MESSING, will close on 18 May (06) after eight years and eight series.
McCormack says, "I think we're in denial a little bit in terms of we kept thinking, 'Oh, we've got 12 (episodes) left.'"
The decision to end Will And Grace came about due to declining audience figures since 2004, and the age of the show, which piloted in 1998.
The final episode will be extended to one hour in length.

Re: 'Will and Grace' stars in denial
I loved "Will & Grace" but got sick of them right quick but still love Jack and Karen, they're much funnier, more like "Ab Fab" which I dearly miss!

The show's been on since 1998. Why hasn't he boned her yet?

karen and jack are the reasons people watch, imo. I smell a spinoff!

these last episodes are so bad. I love this show so much. It's really sad to see how bad it got.

Re: 'Will and Grace' stars in denial
All the stupid famous "special guest stars" popping up just about every week in a pathetic attempt to win back viewers was totally cheesy.

Re: 'Will and Grace' stars in denial
The only reason I ever started watching the show was because of Karen and Jack. Debra Messing took a looooong time to grow on me. As of now, she's come into the role right nicely. But I won't miss her or Grace. Will, neither.

Ugh, I hate it when they try to spin shit off.
It usually does not work.

Re: 'Will and Grace' stars in denial
Successful spin-offs:
"Frasier", "Laverne & Shirley", and I think "Good Times" was also a spin-off. But I could be wrong. Maybe it was "The Jeffersons"? I dunno. There are quite a few others, too. ETA: Yes, "The Jeffersons" was a spin-off. So was "Maude."
Failed spin-offs: "Joanie Loves Chachi" (or however you spell it) and "That 80's Show." Talk about horrendous!
