    well, i haven't seen the hurt locker but i doubt it would have been my top choice for best film, but it's not 'avatar' so i'll take it.

    Chalet, it was great. Even better when I went back and saw it on the big screen (had originally watched it at home). It was interesting to see a war movie that was a war movie, but with a uniquely female perspective at times. Really fantastic. Brought a few of the people I was with to tears when we watched it yesterday.
