haha i loved their speech. only the coens would go up there to get their oscar and tell the story of why they love making films together. i especially loved the bit about their shuttle diplomacy movie. scorsese couldn't keep a straight face.

What was the joke that Jon Stewart made at Cameron Diaz's expense? I had the channel turned.
I can't really help you with that, I don't remember him saying anything funny about her. He did say that the next presenter is talented and beautiful and out came Cameron Diaz looking like the Joker and flubbing her lines but that was unintentional comedy.
