I just saw a preview for the up coming "Marie Antoinette" movie by Sofia Coppola.
I love period films, looks good, maybe?.

At first I was annoyed by the casting choices, until I realized that the film was supposed to be more like Dangerous Liasons dialogue/soundtrack wise in that it's period with a modern twist. If you know Marie-Antoinette, you realize that Kirsten is actually a pretty good choice, as they have a lot in common. For the first half of her life (until she got very fat and prematurely gray), M-A was cute, blonde, gossipy, not good at following directions (or, more importantly, running a country), into parties and that sort of thing...basically just a shallow sort of socialite. I think it has a lot of potential.

I think it has potential.... it looks like a gorgeous film, at the least. Kirsten isn't the worst actress... maybe she can draw on her Interview with the Vampire role for inspiration. It's the last movie I liked her in.

I don't know how I feel about the song in the trailer. It's cool, but if the whole soundtrack's gonna be like that, I think it's a little silly and forced.

I like these sort of movies, so I'll probably watch this, Kirsten nonwithstanding.

I think I heard on Entertainment Tonight that KD has a nude scene in it. Probably a ploy to take attention away from that hideous, fang-like grill of hers.
