Didn't see a thread on this show yet, so thought I would start one.

Has anyone seen this show?? I have caught a few bits of the show, here and there, and have really enjoyed it.

The series revolves around the conflicted world of Don Draper (Hamm), the biggest ad man (and ladies man) in the business, and his colleagues at the Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency. As Don makes the plays in the boardroom and the bedroom, he struggles to stay a step ahead of the rapidly changing times and the young executives nipping at his heels. The series also depicts authentically the roles of men and women in this era while exploring the true human nature beneath the guise of 1960s traditional family values.

The set is awesome, and I love the whole aura of the show. And the lead actor is f-ing HAWT!

It's a great show, it really captures the era. Love the drinking and smoking at work. They are replaying shows before the new season.

The new season kicks off Sunday and I did happen to catch a few minutes of some of the reruns. Damn sexy show!

I love this show! I had missed the last few eps of the season, but I caught up this past Sunday when they had a marathon of the entire 1st season. How about the chick who went to the hospital for a stomach ache and ended up delivering a baby?! She thought the pill could not possibly let her down and didn't believe for a minute she could be pregnant.

I can't wait for season 2.

Hamm was on Letterman last night and he is so different from Don Draper. He smiles and laughs a lot and I kept thinking his teeth looked funny, even tho I think it's just because Draper hardly ever smiles-there is nothing actually wrong with them

. He has got to be one hell of an actor to play someone so opposite himself.

I've only caught the first episode. Didn't even know about the show until a coworker told me to check it out. After just 1 episode I am addicted!! Can't wait to have time to sit down and watch the rest!!

I just went to the AMC website and watched a complete recap of the Season 1 and it was awesome!! Made me super excited for season 2!!!

And I missed a bunch of episodes so I had no idea who Peggy got pregnant by, I actually assumed it was Draper, not that idiot Pete. What an asshole.

Hubby and I laughed our asses off during the Shoot episode where Pete and Ken are fighting and Roger offers Draper a ride to the train station.

I'll have dvr it since it's on past my bedtime.

just figured out that is Anne Dudek who plays Francine is also Amber on HOUSE...

Don and Peggy never got together so he's not the father. I think it's Pete.

I watched last season and bought the DVD's. I plan on watching the DVD's and all the extras this weekend before the premiere.

Love Mad Men...i am absolutely addicted to this show. Cannot w8 for Sunday.

Yes Jon Hamm is cute. He is so sexy. BTW - he's in the Day the Earth Stood Still with Keanu Reeves; it opens on December 12th...cannot w8.

I really hope he wins an Emmy. MM got something like 12 or 16 nominations brilliant.

The acting in this show is superb...there is not one bad actor amongst the cast.

I know everyone hates Pete...but sometimes i feel very sorry for him. He's obviously unhappy. His parents don't respect him; he tries so desperately at work to do well but fails (mostly) and his wife...she is so annoying!

My favourite character is Don Draper...although he's a cold and calculating man...i still root for him.

Can't w8 for Season 2 to start. I want to know what happened to Peggy's baby.

I want less of Betty's drama at home and what's happened to Harry's? marriage. Is he still with his wife?

Roll on Sunday...yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Season 2 will take place 2 years later than season 1.

I like that idea, it'll be interesting to see what's happened. I'm sure there will be some interesting plot twists and turns.

I suppose.

My problem with it is we won't get to see a natural progression of the characters. The jump in time means all sorts of changes and we won't get to see them happen.
