Possibly starfruit but I'm doubtful.

Have just finished watching it, first time in about a year which is quite a long time for me. Anyway my mum watched it too and she told me that at the London premiere, Princess Diana couldn't go to meet the cast and crew afterwards because she had to run off to fix her make-up... it had made her cry!
Anywho I'm reminded of why I love this movie so much. Is so beautiful, emotional and almost spiritual. One of the best films of all time if you ask me. I don't really think people of today are capable of making these kind of films any more.
Possibly starfruit but I'm doubtful.

E.T. was great. I love this movie so much..
I Bleed Purple-Baltimore and Proud!
Oh yes, this movie was famous for making people cry, even old ronnie reagan himself was said to have 'moist eyes' after viewing it. Still a magical movie, they don't make them like this anymore.

There's so much to pick up in later viewings, too. Last night, probably the 1000th time I've seen it, I spotted a few things I never noticed before.
Omfg, I ordered the 2 disc edition from America (coz you can only get the super CGI'd version in Australia now, morons) and I loved it! I watched the 20th Anniversary one when I got home from work, and then I watched the original when a friend popped over.
I ordered it, it was a 2nd hand copy cause that's cheaper, and I thought the fact that Spielberg didn't just cut the guns out (that moment when Mary screams: "No! No guns! They're children!" is perfectly dramatic; why would he want to get rid of it?) but also many scenes was really unneccessary. I do like parts of the newer release, like the spaceship and the floating balls and E.T.'s eyes at the end when he says "I'll beeee riiiight heeeere" (such expression) but other than that, I prefer the original and will watch that from now on. Or maybe splice and dice the versions on my computer and burn them onto a DVD to my perfection.
OMG can you tell I'm obsessed with this movie?![]()
i fucking hate it when they change things now in movies.. it's stupid.
I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.
I say if you have to change something, wait until the world has perfected CGI. Right now fucking oil paintings looks more real. I wouldn't be surprised if in years to come they have a remastered version of The Sound of Music, with Julie Andrews twirling on a mountain with a lush wasterfall in the distance, and stars and a moon and shooting stars in the sky. Morons.
E.T. scared me when I was little. I used to have the same nightmare of him hiding in my bathroom.
It's a cute movie. I loved it when it came out, and now my kids watch it all the time.
