Ummmm... yeah, I watched a trailer for this when I took my son to see Speed Racer and I'm thinking it doesn't look so fucking fantastic and the only reason it's going to get the box office turnout it does is because Heath Ledger is dead.
Also, regarding Heath's work as joker ummm he just looks dirty with face paint on which isn't much different than last days Heath.

Nah, it'll get good box office because the people involved ARE talented. The director, the cast, all very good at what they do.

What I mean is the usual people are going to go see it because it's Batman or whatever the fuck and then there's going to be a whole chunk of Heath Ledger fans that just have to go see his last thing and even people who weren't even his fans before but like dead people that will just have to go see it too.

The Dark Knight was going to be a blockbuster smash regardless of what happened to Ledger (RIP). Its one, Batman, two, the first time we see the Joker in a Batman film in 19 years (Jack Nicholson in 1989) and three...its Batman.
Batmanewbies/non comic book geeks will only say that because none of them were locked in their basements browsing their internets having a 30 page argument with other fans on whether or not Joker should be wearing make up in the film or fall in a tub of bleach acid...

Michael Keaton > Everyone else (except Christian Bale). Batman '89 was far from awful. Now Batman '66 with Adam West, that was awful.
