    Default Rugrats

    YouTube - xrugratsx's Channel

A wonderful person has put up all of the episodes of this classic show.
I loved, and now after watching some, still love, this epic TV show. I wish it was out on DVD.
Key funny moments to me- Angelica's reaction to the sky falling, Angelica pushing a bowling ball down the stairs to pretend she's fallen and broken her leg, Angela's attempts to woo the 4 year old by jumping out of the sand screaming: "You can't have me, you can't have me, you can't haaaave me!!"

For all it's worth, Angelica was the funniest, but I hated her evilness. I'm more of a Tommy guy. Saying that though, Chuckie always cracked me up.

Tommy: I don't trust Angelica. Remember when she told you that your blanket came alive?

Chuckie: *shudders* Oo-hoo, don't remind me!

This is my favourite moment ever. (1:40- Angelica)

I love the Rugrats! I used to watch that show religiously when I was younger. Although the series didn't seem to be as good once the movie came out... Anyone else think the addition of Dil was a little unnecessary?

And don't even get me started on All Grown Up... bleh.

^I LOVED the episode were all the babies decided they would never wear clothes again, Tommy's argument was excellent:

"all the best people go nakee, Spike*...."

    *their dog.

Yea, it went downhill when they started going crazy with the addition of unnecessary new characters (Susie, Kimi, Dil), which took a lot of storylines and focus away from the main characters that we all knew and loved.

Lol I used to watch the Rugrats when I was younger. My favorite episode is when the babies are afraid of this clown toy thing that Stu made. So when the clown toy is trashed, Stu makes more and they end up going after the babies in the backyard. lol

    God I miss that cartoon.

Speaking of Rugrats, this guy on youtube made a freaky animation about it:

Now, I didn't mind the addition of Susie. She wasn't in every single episode in the earlier seasons, she was more of the occassional, friendly visit type. So that was something different, then.

Kimi was just a female Tommy, she was only there to counter balance how skittish and scared Chuckie was. And Dil... Dil was just there. They both seemed unnecessary to me.

Haha, I hated Susie because Angelica was my favorite and I thought Susie was always getting her in trouble and stealing her thunder.

I also liked Phil and Lil. Hated Chuckie.

I loved Phil and Lil. Loved the way they'd trick their mom by switching Lil's bow around onto Phil's head, ahaha.

    ^^ Hahaha, I remember that.
Shame this show isn't on DVD.
And I sort of liked Susie, but back when she joined I didn't really think "oh she's been placed in the show to keep it fresh", it just sort of was.

I am quite ashamed to say that I watched this. In my late teens and 20's. And I enjoyed it and was entertained. Matter of fact I watched a lot of Nick programming far, far beyond an appropriate age. My favorite was Hey Arnold. Blues Clues was a good one to watch hungover. Rocko's Modern Life was pretty damn funny, I'm pretty sure the Spongebob creator sort of ripped him off. I even remember I liked that Hey Dude live action show.

*sigh* I think I have issues trying to reclaim my childhood...

Anyway, I rather liked Susie. She reminded me of myself, how she was always trying to call out Angelica on her bullshit. Cause let's face it, Angelica was a spoiled bitch.

Angelica enfuriated me when I was little; cracks me up now.

I liked all of those shows you mentioned except for Blues Clues (a bit out of my age range when it first came onto the scene).
