you feel bad for her? he's a fucking idiot for marrying that guy.
I am watching it, and I really do feel sorry for this woman. She is a housewife, and her husband feels that a woman's place is in the kitchen, and they are here to produce/pop out babies, and he referred to his wife as just a "maid". Then her children basically command her, to do whatever, and her silly ass runs around doing that..it's insane! Oh, and the other family the family consists of Ghost Hunters, and the wife is the bread winner.

I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.
I didn't watch it, but if she's going to put up with that crap, then she is victimizing herself.
I watch Wife Swap as long as it doesn't interfere with Survivor. I look at it in between commercials when Survivor is on. I also know that I will be able to see the full Wife Swaps when re-run season rolls around.
*Sigh* As me late sainted mum used to say, "Anyone who gets married before they're fifty is a fool!" Of course, when she said it, she'd try to direct the comment to me but she'd glare at my father, with whom she was angry. She did it all the time and it really affected me and I took it literally.
I'm 53 and still technically single and so is Mr. Pippin who is closer to sixty than he is to fifty. We have lived common-law for over twenty years, but we don't want to get married.
I'm glad that we will never qualify for an appearance on Wife Swap.
Ewwww....and the show that comes on afterwards, Supernanny. Oh, I can't watch that. I cannot bear to look at and hear out-of-control tykes. I go to A&E or TLC to watch something more uplifting like "The First 48" or "Dr. G -- Medical Examiner".
Screaming little kids skeer me!![]()
I don't understand why anyone would sign up for this. IMO the people who are interested in being on this sort of show are really unhappy in their own lives and are looking for some sort of escape. The families are almost always weird as hell and dysfunctional.
OMFG I know and the combinations are getting to be the same each time; not nearly as amusing as it was at first. I really liked the one on FOX where they got to decide how the other family spent some money at the end of the show and there was a Wife that was such a psychotic bitch; she threw a fit over what her family and the other woman had decided to do.
Just what I'm in the mood for while paying bills. Female Shock Jock vs. homemaker
Sorry to bump this after a year, but.... OMG!I am watching this for the first time! WHO would ever sign up to do this???
I love Wife Swap! I watch both the British and the American episodes.
Carrie: What kind of impotence do you think it is? Charlotte: The kind that makes it soft. (Sex and the City)
This one is the US version, but the husband is from the UK and they live in Ca. The other couple is from Miss. They cant be more opposite! I am so embarrased for them! I usually dont watch these kind of shows because I feel like I am watching a train wreck!![]()
The Brit husband is such an ASSHOLE! I would be embarrassed to be his wife, having the country see what a rude, obnoxious, cruel douchebag my husband is. I don't know the Midwestern wife made it 2 weeks
They run older British episodes every night on Showcase. The other night, one of the husbands refused to follow the new wife's rules following the rule change. She stated that she had followed their rules, so why wouldn't he do the same for her? He replied he wasn't doing anything differently because he didn't see the point.
Well, why are you on the show then, dumbass?![]()

This man, Steven Fowler, his life will be changed tomorrow. In a bad way. What a snob. I've never been this angry over a reality show.
