Default The worst movie titles ever!

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) - An excellent example of a title that is simply too long. It kinda gave away the ending too

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978) - At least this unusual title is true to the movie. There is indeed an attack of a killer tomato, but we still think it sounds like an attack of a bad title.

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006) - Credit to anyone being able to say this title in one breath, let alone know it by heart. Although it’s quite a frustrating tongue twister, we'd have to admit that it suits the silly comedy pretty well.

Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999) - Did we need the reminder that Gigolo’s are male? Though we have to admit it’s pretty funny, the title is a bit redundant and rhymes a little too much for our taste.

Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (2002) - Conjures up images of some kind of insane cult doesn't it? Whatever your interpretation, the bizarre comedy fell at the first hurdle - the name.

The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain (1995) - This is one of those titles that we love to hate. It’s long, really tough to remember and it doesn’t like to fit on a poster.

Freddy Got Fingered (2001) - About as crass as movie titles get, we don’t think anyone would expect any less from the comedian Tom Green. Let’s just hope there isn’t a sequel.

Gigli (2003) - This title was off to a rocky start when no one even knew how to pronounce it. Unfortunately for the film, it was most famous for being the one with “Benifer” in it.

Help! I'm a Fish (2000) - Even for an animated kid’s movie this is a bit silly. Best keep the kids on a strict diet of Finding Nemo.

Honey I Blew Up The Kid (1992) - The sequel to Honey I Shrunk The Kids might've had an even worse title than it's predecessor.

How to Eat Fried Worms (2006) - Not for the squeamish… or anyone who can spot a rubbish kid-flick.

I Heart Huckabees (2004) - Does Heart mean love? Or does it mean less than love? Either way, that title irritated the entire film industry when we discovered that keyboards don't have heart symbols!

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007) - How are kids expected to pronounce this syllable-loaded title when we barely can?!

Sssssss (1973) - We’re thinking this one might be about snakes? It’s not a very creative title, but it’s fun to say! Sort of…

Riding In Cars With Boys (2001) - Anyone else think this just sounds like straight up porn? Those in search of the adult stuff will be disappointed to find a Drew Barrymore rom-com…

Hey I loved 'Riding In Cars With Boys' and the name fits.

How about Killer Klowns from Outer Space or Glitter or Crosswords!?! Maybe the last two are just suck ass movies..and the title would be included!

"How to eat fried worms" was a kids book first...the movie maker didn't have a choice. How about Die Hard With a Vengeance? a little overkill methinks.

Attack of the killer tomatoes: if you look at the crowd scene running from the stadium, in the hundreds of people, you will see me. i was a 17 yr old that ditched school to be in the scene. yes, i'm THAT person.

I think he had the choice when he deciding to make the book into a film.
