I can't believe Leonardo DiCaprio and that "I'm king of the world" malarky didn't make it.

ugh, jerry mcguire. and city of angels... that was mindblowingly painful to watch.
all of the nominees are really bad though, except for sin city. the campy dialogue is part of what i love about that.

My very first thought was George Lucas too. Too bad too because I heart that man.

I dunno, my least favourite is: "You can't handle the truth." it wasn't funny or effective in the movie and becomes exceedingly LESS so as the years roll on. Let it die people.

I didn't think it was even well delivered in the movie. THat line was so phoned in.

Agreed, though I don't mind the quote from "She's All That" either. The line was meant to sound silly.

I was so glad to see that line from "Four Weddings"...I think its EASILY the worst line in a film - EVER. And Andie McDowell doesn't help matters at all.

I've got to say Jerry McGuire. That 'you complete me' & 'you had me at hello' crap had me laughing in the theater. And every time I see that movie, I still laugh at those lines.

Although the WORST line I ever heard in a movie, that wasn't on the list, was from the latest King Kong remake. When Jack Black stares into the camera and says 'It was beauty that killed the beast.'

^^ Agreed. The 'you complete me' line along with Love Story's, 'Love means never having to say you're sorry' line are two of the worst EVER lies about romance that women wholeheartedly accepted. UGH.

Yeah, bad/cheesy, but aren't these the quotes that made these movies famous?

I think the entire last half hour of Revenge of the Sith is the absolutely worst acting and script I have ever seen. Hayden's delivery sounded like an elementary school play.
