Default More than 100 Osmonds reunite on Oprah!

Here is the story behind the Osmond family - George and Olive Osmond had nine children, who then had 55 children, who then had 48 kids of their own! Now there are more than 100 Osmands that mostly all entertainers that keep touring (check out http://www.osmondbros.com/ on their tour). The Osmonds perform all styles of music from barbershop, pop, rock, country, and jazz. They have sold millions of albums and have several gold and platinum records to their credit. They have broken records for sell out performances once held by the Beatles and Elvis, and won numerous awards including the People's Choice Award. If you watch "Dancing with the Stars" you will recognize Marie Osmond (who is famous for passing out on the last week's show)

Today on The Oprah Show More than 100 Osmonds will reunite on one stage! Is that Osmondmania or what? Expect a very emotional show, considering the heartbreaking news from last week that their dad had passed away ...

i actually made a post it for myself to watch this. i dont like Oprah but i was always a Donny Osmond fan. it was nice to see all of the Osmonds, but i was kind of disappointed in how they put most of the spotlight on Donny and Marie. I thought it would also show more of the Osmond brothers. i know some of its on the After the Show part on the internet. And i completely forgot that they had 2 older brothers who are deaf!

Am I the only one that thought this was really tacky? Nothing like asking someone to perform like a trained monkey two days after their dad dies. Way to go Oprah. Does that help with the grief? The last thing I'd want to do after a death of someone close is perform.

i dunno. after my dad died, i really wanted to do something normal, i didnt want to just sit around, staring at relatives grieving. the Osmonds are an entertainment family. and they all said that they voted to show up.
