Gene Simmons Family Jewels
I am not a big fan of reality tv (never even watched the Osbournes) but I recently watched this show one night when nothing else was on and I am hooked now. I am not a fan of KISS nor do I think that Gene Simmons is attractive at all but he is hilarious to watch, especially interacting with his family. He seems like such a teddy bear with his kids and I really enjoy this show now. Just curious if anyone else is watching this show and their opinions on it.

I think the son is the best part of the show. Shannon's sister seems borderline rertarded or something. I also think their relationship isn't quite as peachy as appearances suggest.
I've seen it a couple times but couldn't get into it.
i looooove the son. he always cracks me up !
I have watched it several times and its fairly entertaining.
One question though for those who have seen the show a lot: What is up w/Shannon wanting another baby?? And is she still trying/wanting one??
I am not sure, but this Sunday there is a marathon and several episodes are about this. One of the episodes says it is about Gene suggesting to Shannon that they adopt so I am guessing she didn't get pregnant. That would be hilarious though if she were to have a baby and watching the dynamics of Gene and the baby (changing diapers, feeding and burping, trying to quiet crying, etc).
I agree that the son is the funnest person to watch but I also like Sophie and Gene's relationship as well.
I used to really love the show, until they started staging some stupid stuff. It was funny on it's own, no need to stage crap. I love his kids. Nick is hot. Yes, I know he's a little on the young side, but he's cute. Shannon's sister is a bit off. I chalked it up to drug use.

^^Yeah. That and the bull semen one. And the one where the lesbian couple ask for his sperm. And where he leaves his wallet thingy in the cab. A lot of it is real, but then they do these silly stunts and they just lose me.

I'm a huge Kiss fan and love the show. They seem like a nice family. Nick is a cutie and Sophie is going to give her father fits as she gets older. Shannon's sister is for sure a fruit loop.

ITA. This is why I stopped watching the most recent season, just couldn't stand the scripting. It'd be okay if it was apparent only in an episode or two but it's now taken over every episode. Why did they have to go & ruin such a great show?!?
Yeah, staging something for a reaction once in a while is fine, but in all of the episodes is a bit much.
