I like jodie so I'll probably check this out tomorrow though it looks a bit heavy handed.

Looks like movies come in twos as another vigilante flick, death sentence, came out a few weeks ago. Now that was one of the best movies of the year.

We went to see it today, it was GOOD!! Jodie Foster is such a good actress, she was totally believable. Sad movie though, don't forget the Kleenex.

Well I saw it last nite and I have to say that I really really enjoyed it! I won't give away the ending but it was unlike other films of the same type of theme(s) where the woman has to pay/be punished for her bad deeds no matter her original intention(s) and Jodie Foster and Terrence Howard were both unbelievably amazing! I couldnt take my eyes off of them on the screen when they were up there b/c they're soooo absorbing, there's never a hint of acting when they're on screen. If i had 1/10 the gift that Jodie has; I'd be an Oscar winner myself; she's freakishly good! And I just liked it, it was entertaining and of course its a movie so its not exactly how life is or whatever, but it wasn't too far-fetched or crazily unbelievable either.

So yeah, I'd recommend it for an entertaining 2 hours and it gets you thinking a tiny bit, and once again the acting alone is well worth it. And I love how it ended, no dramatic driving off a cliff a la Thelma and Louise or personal loss/sacrifice for this lady with payback in mind! (also one reason why I loved Kill Bill so much)

I saw it today, and I liked it. I agree with AliceInWonderland, the chemistry between Terence Howard and Foster was absolutely amazing and electric. Especially in that scene where they are in the diner and he kind of gives off hints that he knows the real truth, and as she gets up to leave, he grabs and tenderly holds her hand, and I was like, whoa. It was very moving and very romantic at the same time.
