It reminds me of the Lemony Snicket movie too. Did anyone else want Ned to touch Chuck just to shut her up? I'm begining to find her annoying. I wish they'd show more of the Mermaid sisters.

LOVE IT!!! Sorry, couldn't control myself, lol.
From some of the spoilers I've read, I kind of get the impression that the show is going to move through main characters. It's without a doubt that Chuck and Ned will ever have a relationship beyond making eyes at each other so I wasn't too surprised to read that she becomes interested in another character. This may have already happened but I also read that Kristin C's character comes more into the storyline down the road.
I loved the look of it and it was a total fluke that I caught the show. They were talking about it on tv, I went to the website and went right back to the tv so I could set the dvr because I knew I'd forget it otherwise. It reminds me a lot of Wonderfalls. That was another good show that vanished from my tv. I'm almost afraid to like anything! It seems like everytime I do, it's taken off the air or we've turned off the cable channel! Thank God for internet broadcasts!

It's creator is the Wonderfalls creator. Maybe that's why.

He's a cutie.

You should check out Soldier's Girl. Lee is the transexual who falls in love with a soldier. He was very good. Troy Hayden plays the soldier. it was based on a true story. Its pretty sad.

Yes ever since I saw clips of him as a tranny, it's all I can see when I look at him. He's still very... oddly... appealing. I wish he was gay, coz he's adorable. In a muppet-with-heavy-eyebrows sort of way.

Ned really needs to go shirtless in an episode. For all our sakes.

Allie-did you really do this video?? That is GREAT!!
I love this fairy tale for grown-ups! Every piece -cast,sets,clothes-is well thought out perfection. The narrator is a cast member and I love him, too. Snarky comments thrown in softly! Those Aunts! The Pie Hole!

Pity at the moment with the strike, they're re-building episode 9 as the season finale.
NOOOOOO!
(And thanks for the nice words)

I like Bitches (lol) but it was missing the quirk for the most part. Although I have watched the first 5 episodes over 10 times so I think I'll like it better in a couple of days.
The aunts weren't in it too. Boo.

Have I mentioned this is my favourite show?
Have been listening to all the episodes over and over this week while I'm busy at work, so although I didn't technically watch it... I listened to it. Seen the episodes a billion times anyway so I know what's going on.
But it's interesting, without the wonders of sight distracting me, I've picked up on dialogue I never even noticed at first, such as my new favourite:
Vivian: "In Bulgaria, we were en route to... a competition, when a band of gypsies stopped the train. They came through the cabin, and stole one woman's watch... and her soul."
Lily: "They didn't take her soul."
"Vivian: "Well, she was ennui and vacant after they left."
Lily: "Because they took her watch!"
 The timing is perfect.
