Default Top Movie + Top Actor

We all have our favourite movies and our favourite actors. But do you have a movie/actor that combines the two?

    For example:

Leonardo di Caprio - The Aviator
    Johnny Depp - Edward Scissorhands
Al Pacino - The Godfather 2
    John Travolta - Pulp Fiction
    Uma Thurman - Kill Bill 1 & 2
    Jack Nicholson - The Shining
I've never liked lesbianism - it leaves a bad taste in my mouth
    Dame Edna Everage

Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

Kate Winslet - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
    Uma Thurman - Kill Bill 1, 2
Cillian Murphy - 28 Days Later (I'm seeing "Sunshine" today, though, so it might change!)
    Jake Gyllenhaal - Donnie Darko
    Steve Buscemi - Ghost World
    Guy Pearce - Memento
Edward Norton - American History X
Samuel L. Jackson - Pulp Fiction
    Johnny Depp - Edward Scissorhands
Robert De Niro - Goodfellas (Never seen the "Godfather" films)
    Sigourney Weaver - Aliens
Jeff Goldblum - The Fly (He was robbed of an Oscar nom, for sure)
I saw a film today, oh boy.

@ simplekindaetc - you MUST take a 'lost weekend' and watch the Godfather movies, or at least the first 2. Godfather 3 is a major letdown but it completes the 'story'. If you liked Robert de Niro in Goodfellas (me too!) you will LOVE him in the Godfather.

I'm actually all set to watch the trilogy this summer. I'm just waiting for my Dad to hand over his DVDs. At least if part three is silly, I'll get to laugh at Sophia!

Part 3 is truly terrible, and not just because it's up against 1 and 2 which are masterpieces IMO. It's about Michael Corleone trying to seek some kind of redemption but the message is completely ruined by a bad script, bad acting and bad casting. Sohpia Coppolla's performance is beyond bad. But it's still worth watching I guess.

I'm still surprised when people say they haven't seen these movies. And #3 is pure crap but it does complete the story. How is it that both Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro got Oscars for playing Vito Corleone but Al Pacino didn't even get nominated for playing Michael??? Part II is one of the best movies ever made!!!

I know it was you Fredo, you broke my heart...
