I have no idea what time it comes on here -- the TV Week is useless.

Yeah, I missed it last night because I was watching So You Think You Can Dance. I'm sure I'll be able to catch up when they do their normal fitty-leven re-runs though.

I did catch the charity cook-off, but I missed the first new episode with the new chefs. As Greysfang said, I'm sure I'll have many opportunities to watch.
Yes, I still hate Marcel. Thanks to him, I had several wads of paper to pick up after the show as I had lobbed them at the tv when he was on. And I still think Elia needs some mental help.....white hair?
And I think Sam had an unfair advantage.....the judge (little short fellow with dark hair and glasses?) wants in his pants........Sojiita, could you be impartial when judging him? er....his food, I mean....

I never liked Marcel, I just never understood where all the animosity came from. They just all suddenly ganged up on him and I never saw the justification for that. I assume he was a dick off camera, but still...they really dogpiled the boy.

Re: Season 1 vs Season 2 I agree Marcel is the better chef and this shows Ilan should not have won. He can only cook Spanish and he can only cook Spanish if her steals his former bosses recipes.
I'm liking season 3. Seems like they have a higher caliber of chef. Tre Wilcox has been nominated for a James Beard Award twice. That's the Oscar of the culinary world.
My other fave is Hung. ***insert joke here***
I was so happy to see Tony as a judge! They can just replace Gail with him imo.
I felt bad that Clay's dad committed suicide but I also feel creeped out that he's pursuing a career which he seemed to indicate was partly the reason for his father taking his own life. I just can't help feeling that this poor kid needs to make his own mark in something that has nothing to do with a memory like that......especially if he's pursuing something that is beyond his grasp.
I knew Howie wasn't going home when he quoted Tony on Ecuadorian cooks. I LMAO!

Ted Allen said "He is a 'little' cute..yeah right..he is ALOT cute! lol. Actually I think Sam was treated pretty fairly-his cooking is right up there usually. I still think Harold and Tiffany would be an unbeatable team..they would wipe the floor with any of the others. I was so Glad to see the old Tiff!
And I was a big Marcel supporter..and he even got on my last nerve this last time! He just does not know when to stfu! I even was saying to the TV "marcel just STFU the rapping is not funny or cute this time!!!!" And I loved it when Harold( ) put him in his place. Even Marcel knew then it was time to SHUT UP! I also enjoyed Stephen's immense pomposity too. Ater last season Tiff and Stephen look like saints..and they can back their shit up too!

This crop of cheftestants seems to be a lot more interesting and talented than season 2's bunch. I already hate Hung, however. I hate people who proudly and loudly announce they are assholes.

I agree. And Hung should be rechristened with a new name: DUNG!

Yeah but I think Hung will probably win. I post on a board with chefs and people in the industry and apparently he's extremely talented and is going to take it.
Tre seems like the nicer guy and also talented.
But there could also be a dark horse.
