Creature Comforts
If you have ever seen the British version, you will want to give this a go:

Quote:
Series Premiere:
Monday, June 4, CBS 8pm et/pt
Academy Award-winning Aardman Animations are bringing their UK hit CREATURE COMFORTS to the United States. In this new half-hour stop-motion animated series, excerpts are culled from real-person interviews and placed in the mouths of a wide variety of animated animals to produce humorous, charming and insightful commentaries on everyday life.
In upcoming episodes, interviews with hundreds of ordinary Americans from across the United States cover a variety of subjects, such as an explanation of animal magnetism and what creatures look for in a mate, as well as the truth about lies and what it takes to keep a secret. Told through the mouths of animated animals, insects and other non-human species, they reveal their thoughts in a new and distinct way: an older married couple listing their ailments as portrayed by two lovebirds, the couple who talk about their great height difference as portrayed by two dachshunds, and two men who seem to be examining the bouquet of a fine wine as portrayed by two dogs sniffing, well, another dog. Recently, CREATURE COMFORTS was awarded the prestigious Rose d'Or for Best Comedy and Cristal Award for Best TV Production at the Annecy Animation Festival as well as the Audience Award at the New York International Children's Film Festival.

The UK version of this is really cute!! I don't usually like this sort of thing but do like CC. I hope we don't screw this up.

The only thing that concerns me, for those who have seen the Brit version, is they are showing the people on the commercials. Part of the fun is not knowing what sort of person did the voice or just being able to tell from the voice. Either way, it beats reruns!

Creature Comforts is adorable. I think here (england) It's just voiced by random people (not actors)

I read somewhere that the clay animator is the same one as the fellow who does Wallace and Gromit.....and they're great.....
On this program, I think my favorites were the "little boy snails".....they cracked me up....oh, yeah, and the snake that ate the kitty.....hysterical....

I love the UK version. The basset hound who "isn't one to go to the doctor for every little thing"... the rats ("that's not really juggling then is it?" "Nah, it's just chucking things up in teh air")

I loved the wine connoisseurs conversation paired with dogs sniffing each other's butts. Classic!
