Rome [HBO]
Any watchers? I love studying Ancient Civilizations so I'm totally sucked in. Titus Pullo is my favorite character - his turn as a gladiator could make Russell Crowe cry like a little girl.

Re: Rome [HBO]
I should watch this, because I find the stuff interesting. But it's either on too late at night, or family guy is on

Re: Rome [HBO]
That's why I like On Demand from Comcast. I can watch it whenever I want. It's the least they can do for taking my MuchMusic from me. It's so much better than MTV!

Re: Rome [HBO]
I love MuchMusic...MTV sucks, it's like 50% of a video, and then shout-outs. Bleh
It's on at like 1 am for you insomniacs

Re: Rome [HBO]
I've been enjoying Rome. Have you ever read "I, Claudius"?

Re: Rome [HBO]
Nope. I should check it out! But I did play Cassius in high school when we did Julius Caesar in British Lit class.

Re: Rome [HBO]
I can see that. Marc Anthony is sort of cute, but he's such a weasel. Caesar is definitely the alpha male in the relationship.

Re: Rome [HBO]
I've been catching it here and there. I think I've seen every episode thru last week. And I've somehow developed a crush on Pullo. Problem is, it started before he did what he did to get thrown out of Vorenus' house. Now, all I see is a big brute. But still... I guess I like brutes? I mean, I still have a huge crush on Russell Crowe. I was supposed to be his wife, but then ole Danni girl came back on the scene, that pretty bitch!

Re: Rome [HBO]
yeah I kno, i liked that guy too but then i couldn't believe what he did to that poor boy, it was really awful and totally unforgivable of his character I mean, he's worse than Tony Soprano...almost

Re: Rome [HBO]
^^ Yeah, but in Pullo's defense: he's a killer, bred in the Roman army. He's trained to respond, not think. Problem is, that kind of behavior don't go over so well when you're a civilian! Poor Pullo. He was just defending his propety, lol.
