Has anybody seen this show on Nickelodeon? I just got into it... today... and I cracked a rib laughing at it. It's so funny! Because it's clever, and it's surprising. I love the mother and her son, Carl ("Don't be going to any funerals you weren't invited to!) and his best friend Hoodie ("I had amnesia, Carl. Does that mean anything to you?") It's a shame this show wasn't as noticed as other popular kids shows. Perhaps it's because of the single mother, the gay teacher and student, the main character with a black boyfriend... but the scripts are very clever and witty. If it weren't an animation it would probably win some Emmys...

I just had so much fun watching this- I know it ended 3 years ago but it's really, really funny!

"Detroit!? What's in Detroit!?"

Hoodie: "No offense Mr. Hebbert... But I'm not a big fan of birds. Or people who think they're birds."

Mr. Hebbert: "You lucky cats are going to leave a time capsule, on the grounds of this very elementary."

I've seen the show...it's not on Nickelodeon in the States anymore. It's cute and witty, though can't say I like it as much as SpongeBob Squarepants or the Fairly Odd Parents.

Oh, no way! I love those 2 shows way more. I just thought it was extremely well thought out. Very witty, and the humour is definitely for people over 15.

and btw..a teacher on the show was gay? haha did'nt know that..i miss that show too!
