Weeds
Has anyone seen this show? OMG it's completely hilarious - genuinely witty and very, very funny.
Love the way the whole thing is set up to show that the "model world" of morality is just a total sham that you need to be baked to survive.
And any scene that involves Andy... brilliant! Best explanation about masturbation to a young boy I've ever seen!

I LOVE Weeds. omg. I love Celia, she cracks me up. Now have you seen both seasons? I'm so anxious for a new season, I have to know what happens to Nancy!

yeah, had a mammoth session watching the rest of season 2 yesterday to wind down after a test... nice ending. Everyone is up shit creek without a paddle in sight!
I love Andy and Doug's moments of *cough* "clarity"... brilliant. Celia does crack me up but she's such a bitch.. but then that's why she's so funny - there's part of all of us who just wants to be that bitchy!
The only character I hate is Silas - such a prick! I felt slightly sorry for him after Megan's dad punched him, but for the other 23 episodes of this show... he's just a little arsehole. Being a prick to his mother, getting his girlfriend pregnant to stop her from going to Princeton, not to mention landing his mother in a world of shit by stealing her pot stash (did he *seriously* not think that she was about to make a risky sale, given the previous day's conversation about a potential move???) He's just a whinging idiot who needs to grow up.

Yeah I like it, it's ok. But I dislike it a little bit purely because everyone insists it's brilliance. I mean if that's what you're into, then yeah. But it's not brilliance for everyone.
I like the kid.

It's ok I didn't mean saying it's brilliant, just forcing it on people (which is what a lot of people seem to do!)

it's very clever compared to the rest of the rubbish which passes as comedy on tv these days. It's humour relies on more than put downs and fart jokes.

I absolutely love it. It's clever, original, in your face, and utterly addictive.

Oh yeah, I adore her to bits. She was so great in Angels in America. I love her in Weeds too. She does a great job of being semi-in control and semi-frazzled.
Can't wait to see what happens after last season, what a cliffhanger.

Yeah she plays the "I have everything and nothing under control" very well.... I love the line in the first episode that "Right, I have everything under control. Shane gets suspended and you skip school to have sex"

I think it's a riot, and that silly theme song gets stuck in my head.

Has anyone seen the new episodes? Season 3 is great so far. I'm actually beginning to like Silas
MK Olsen is fucking annoying though.

I was sad that U-Turn died so soon-he was starting to grow on me.
Nancy's new boss is one of the most repulsive characters I've ever seen.

I've only seen 3 episodes and I'm completely addicted to it. Amazing! And I love Elizabeth Perkins' character, she just slays me!
