    Default Masters of Horror

Is anyone else a fan of Showtime's Masters of Horror series? My boyfriend and I finally saw the banned episode, Imprint, and we barely made it through it. It was too much for us.

Masters of Horror airs on the Scream channel in my area. I've never seen it, but if people think it's good, I might take a peek.

Love them! I netflix them as soon as they come out. I thought imprint was probably the best one.

It's basically a series of short 1 hour horror movies made by some of the major horror directors out there right now. I've only seen season 1, and not all of it. Most of them were really good, some of them were only OK. It's interesting to see all the different styles though.

It airs on Showtime, and it recently wrapped up its second season. My favorites from season one are John Carpenter's "Cigarrette Burns" and Dario Argento's "Jenifer."

I thought imprint was probably the best one.
My boyfriend and I thought the production value was great, but the torture scene was just too much for us. We had to fast forward through it. I had to do the same thing when I saw Audition.

I like the series. Some of them have been very good and some just crap. What was the one with the cannibals? That was so stupid. I'll have to check out Imprint. I don't remember it and I thought I've seen all of them.

Picara, Imprint never aired in the U.S. You can rent it from the video store, though.

Oooh! Thanks. It must have been bad if it was banned. Sorry, I missed that you wrote that. I'm off to put it in my queue.

No kidding! I read a description of it. Abortions? Yuck. But Billy Drago is in it, so I'll still give it a try. He's such an odd, quirky actor. I'm a fan of his.

I watched this yesterday because I was all, ohhhh what is this show, I must see it. Of course I started with this "Imprint" episode and found myself covering my eyes and then finally fast forwarding through the tourture scene. I can take a lot, but the fingernails?? eesh.

Anyway, I highly suggest News it has this episode as well as the rest from the first and second season if you wanted to watch them for free without renting anything!
All you can do at life is play along and hope that sometimes you get it right.

I did the same thing! I had my head turned into my couch, and I was screaming for my boyfriend to fast forward through it. I couldn't take the screaming. I covered my eyes through practically the entire episode.
