I really enjoyed it. I feel the same about Minnie Driver, and thought she did a great job with her character. Eddie surprised me, pleasantly.

Several years ago, we had people like that around here in Northeast Ohio. I haven't seen them in awhile. They were notorious in the retail market for creating a huge scene trying to return nasty merchandise, yelling, kids screaming, doing everything they could to ensure they'd get some money back. They could be seen driving anything from a fancy vehicle, to a beater, and even mobile homes.

I used to work retail in the midwest and we'd get warnings about them every year. They'd steal and try to return. Sometimes they'd do it by mail too.

Nasty people!

OK, first episode. Kinda hard to tell about the series as of yet but I personally liked it. Minnie Driver usually does nothing for me. I hated her corn rows. Way to harsh. I also do not like that she is a secret junkie either. She did do a great job though and think I could learn to appreciate her. LOVE LOVE "Doug" the dad. He was great. I am still thinking through the whole episode though "like they are really going to get away with this? and for how many seasons?" but I don't want that to rain on my new found parade. I will take it one episode at a time, and hopefully it turns out great!

I missed it, but I am sure there will be some encore presentation...
I have my concerns about Minnie Driver, and hubby has his own about Eddie Izzard...I didn't even know who he was...

I thought it was pretty good. I'm fascinated by the Travellers and their lifestyle. What a strange way to live. Minnie was good, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like her.
