'Match Game' reruns on Game Show Network

As a child of the 70's I have such fond memories of the old game show 'Match Game'. For those of you that get it, GSN (Game Show Network) reruns Match Game quite a bit and even has shows on about Match Game (almost like a 'Biography' type show that discusses the panel/host, etc).

If you have never seen it, I highly recommend you giving it a try---the show still holds up 30+ yrs later and makes me laugh EVERY SINGLE time.

Richard Dawson, Brett Summers, Charles Nelson Reilly, Betty White....and Gene Rayburn...it's just hilarious. They DON'T make em like this anymore...the panel is smoking and drinking..it's the best!

Anyone else love this show? Any other game shows??

I used to watch that show all the time last year b/c I didn't have classes in the middle of the day. GSN was almost always on in my dorm room last year b/c my roommate was always watching it (except when she was watching Dr. Phil, blech), and then she got me addicted to Match Game.

I had heard that it actually had a decent cult following on college campuses but wasn't sure.

It's damn funny stuff.....I'm glad to see the 'younger' folk getting in on it.

I haven't seen it in awhile, I have class when it's on. I kinda miss it lol.

My husband thinks I'm insane because I seek Match Game out and watch it as often as possible. Not into any other game shows, just that one. Makes me laugh like a loon. And reminds me of my childhood....ahhhh

I remember the opening song, very kicky and groovy.
Loved Brett (that's my definition of a broad), Charles Nelson Reilly and Betty White.

The show could get so dirty and bawdy.

I loved that show! That was back before people realized you'd die a slow, painful death from 3 packs a day and they all smoked their brains out on air. Richard Dawson was on there sometimes, too, and I thought he was SO hawt. I wanted to be on the old Family Feud and get one of those

kisses from him.
