Default 11 year old's phenomenal voice on America's Got Talent

I'm in Australia and I dont see this show but I was emailed this and was blown away. Stuff the Britneys, what a voice this little girl has.
I was also irritated by the comment the judge made at the end about the way she was dressed- she's dressed like an 11 year old girl! I'm interested as to what he thought she SHOULD be wearing at her age...

With some proper nurturing and professional guidance she's got a great future. I agree about the judge's clothes/shoes/hair comment, and I'm not comfortable with an 11yr old singing about 'waking up and finding you gone' but nearly all these types of songs are about that so no biggie. I'd say she had rehearsed the movements and gestures too much - it seemed a bit 'wooden' in places and she didn't quite hit all the notes but jeez, she's only 11. Reminds me of a young Janis Joplin in some ways.

I saw this when it aired. Too bad she came on this show, she might have been better off doing local talent competition or something. This America Got Talent show was CRAP. I mean look who the judges are. She can wait a few years and go on America Idol maybe.

If you think it's crazy, you ain't seen a thing. Just wait until we're goin down in flames.

    Oh my.

As Randy Jackson would say, that girl worked it OUT!

I was reading the comments that people wrote under the video of her last performance (not the one with the posted link) & of course, everybody disagreed about whether or not she could actually sing. I really like this comment:

you people need to shut the fuck up n stop talking ur shit......da bitch kan sing....ya'll need 2 clean ur ears out...try having da guts 2 b on stage....man fuck u...hell nah ya'll dont got it.........so git ove urself......

    ooo ooo and these:

no affence but i dnt fink she can sing at all !!

no offence, but I don't think you know how to spell

    AMAZING voice. Wow, just...wow.

And Lobelia, I find it helps my sanity not to look at Youtube comments as a rule. That place is absolute plebe/troll/moron heaven.

You're absolutely right. I read on further, and some foul pervert started making sexual remarks about that child. They must not have any moderation at all.

When I saw her on the show, I thought she was too "affected," as the Idol judges like to say. The tone sounds unnatural and too rehearsed. And she's pretty flat too, probably because she's belting too much. Interestingly enough, Simon Cowell is the producer of that show so she was signed to his record label. She has a cd of covers (or mostly covers): Amazon.com: Bianca Ryan: Music: Bianca Ryan

For me, if I want to listen to those songs, I'll listen to an adult singing them with the feeling and emotion of having been through what they're singing about. I don't really want to listen to a kid trying to sound like an adult.

I think if she went in a more opera/unaffected direction, she could have more success. She CAN sing but she doesn't need to add all the extra stuff to her voice.

I dont know whos life you're referring to, but a million dollar win doesnt mean shes set for life. Taxes will take a large chunk of that, and assuming her parents arent assholes who spend their kids money (which putting an 11 year old on a show like that makes me think that they probably are) I'd be shocked if that money lasts through her 18th birthday.
    Dramatically overdramatic

Agree. By the time mom and dad have bought a new McMansion, a speedboat, an SUV, a couple of holidays in Cancun and a trip to Vegas it will be GONE.

She got a recording contract, so that'll help too. If she actually sells records. I have a feeling Simon will quietly drop her too, because he's not so into child singers, and she also isn't selling amazingly well (I don't think).
