'Absolutely Fabulous' may be coming back with new episodes!

Crack open the Bolly sweetie, darling... Nineties cult TV comedy Absolutely Fabulous is set to return with a brand new series.
The show's stars, Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders are in talks to revive their characters. And script editor Ruby Wax told me at a RADA screening of the movie Perfume in Mayfair that she was preparing to start work on a new Absolutely Fabulous project at the end of the year.
My sources say Saunders and Lumley are also keen to work together again. And June Whitfield, who plays Eddy's mother, tells me she will 'certainly take part'.
Lumley would only say 'never say never' when I asked her about the new series last week.

I love the political incorrectness of this show, and the over the top humor....nothing else on TV like it--it's needed back on the air DESPERATELY.

Gonna have to keep my avatar now...was thinking of changing it, but not now, not when my Pats might be hitting the airwaves again. YEA!

I guess the daughter won't be back, Saffron Burrows? She cracked me up, too. I loved the episode when they went to Morocco and abandoned her.

One of the best shows ever!! I got some of the dvd's for Christmas this year

This is wonderful news. I love this show. Thank goodnes that the talk of doing a US version died out.

I am pretty new to this, so I'm catching up. Has it ever been explained why Eddy dresses so badly? Does Patsy ever give her grief about it? And do the two of them ever actually go to their jobs? And what the hell is wrong with Eddy's secretary, exactly?
