Deja Vu (with Denzel Washington)

Just saw 'Deja Vu' with Denzel Washington. An excellent movie of its kind, great performances and a nice ending. I would classify it as a science fiction movie, so keep that in mind when watching or it could throw you off because of the somewhat serious subject matter.

Mr. Washington is probably America's finest living actor. Not only is a supremely talented, handsome, and wonderful actor, but he's a class act through and through. When you see the jolie's, lohans, and their ilk making total asses of themselves day in and day out, it's refreshing to see an entertainer like him to show not all Hollywood is dreck.

^^Agreed. I thought it was really good, and always enjoy Denzel's movies, although they're rarely award worthy, but still entertaining. The young lady was absolutely beautiful! The story line was very interesting, nice to see something "new". A few parts were a little hard to follow, but it all comes together.

OK, so I just finished this last night and still can't get my head wrapped around it. Loved it, but it confused me in some parts....

Were they on some kind of loop continuum? Is that why he's still alive at the end? I'm assuming thats why he didn't want to go to the cops when he was travelling back in time - because essentially he would meet himself, four days ago, which would have ruined everything. Did anyone else completely get this movie?
