Ugly Betty
Has anyone seen this yet? I've watched it a few times and think it's really funny. I hope they keep her ugly on the show and don't try to turn her into a swan. I love the nephew.

This show is a big hit in Latin America. I was shocked that it's gotten so popular here....I think this English version is kind of cheesy personally--nothing compared to the original Spanish series. Salma Hayek is the producer of this series isn't she?

I really love it. I think it's really campy, it knows it's over the top and it just goes with it. I wouldn't be surprised if they made her over at some point though, especially since America Ferrera really is a beautiful woman.

I love this show!
I love the fact they don't always make Betty a sight gag and they develop the other characters.
Love the scorned Amanda!

This show is pretty entertaining. I actually record it to watch when I have time. Yes the nephew is awesome! Betty isn't really ugly? I'll have to google her and see the real goods, lol!

If you haven't watched the show, you can stream it on abc's website. It is a fun campy show.
It's worth checking out. She really is a beautiful girl.

Okay, it's becoming annoying to me now.
The Desparate Housewives cartoon music constantly in the background, and why won't Betty even try to dress a little nicer for work? LOL

The actress is the same one who played in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Real Women Have Curves, right?
I'm in Spain and they have their own version of the series too. That is, it's different than the Latin American version (Colombian in origin, isn't it?), as the lisps in the Spanish accent drive me nuts with distraction (I'm Mexican). But it's pretty likeable and also campy. In the Spanish version they fill in her eyebrows with black overdone eyepencil to give her a fake unibrow look, and give her glasses and braces on her teeth as well. And she dresses like a stereotypical schoolmarmish nerd, with her hair back in a boring pony tail. But of course you can tell the actress is actually quite pretty underneath all the costuming.
I want to see the American version!!! I'll try to figure out the streaming deal on abc.
NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
It says only viewers within the U.S. can watch the full-length episodes.
That's horseshit!! Horse shit, I say!!

I really liked this at first, but the last episode I couldn't even get through. It's just become another version of Desperate Housewives, and if I wanted to watch that, I would (I don't).

I've stopped watching Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives as well. Too much good TV on lately...not enough time.

I'm just getting into it too and I like it. I think her boss is really hot. I like the storyline with her boss and Selma Hayek. I hope that she doesn't leave
