When people in Britain want to buy a pet, they go to a pet shop. If they want to buy a pet shop, they go to a pet shop shop. If they want to buy a pet shop shop, well, they're just being silly.

I love the bits with Sebastian and the Prime Minister!

Our family convos consist of nearly all the Little Britain catchphrases. My son does a fantastic Andy Pitkin (the bloke in the wheelchair) "I want that one - I don't like it - yeah, I know" and if anyone does something stupid we all do Mad Ann's "eh, eh, ehhhhhhhhh". And when I call him to wake up and come down for brekky I yell "Margaret! MARGARET!!" up the stairs. Oh how we laff.

Okay, so it looks like I need to start watching this! Will have to download, hope that doesn't offend anyone. No cable here...

edit: Based on availability it looks like it's in the third season now. Is that right? I plan to start at the beginning anyway.

The third season has been, gone and is out on DVD. But yes, you need to watch it from season 1 because the characters 'evolve' and it makes more sense if you follow it in the logical sequence. Warning: The humour is pretty far 'out there' and some people just don't Get It. It's also extremely politically incorrect and outrageous so prepare to be shocked. It's one of those shows you either absolutely love or totally hate.

OMG, I want to live with your family...LOL. I love this show but hubby doesn't quite get the Brit humour or something. I watch the DVD by myself... I rented the 2nd season. The last time I was at the vid store, they still didn't have season 3...

Season 3 is only just out in Oz but I'm sure it will arrive in other outposts of the colonies soon.

Speaking of Oz, I got it the day before it came out! Cost me 40 bucks though. And I watched it in one sitting, hahaha. Only six episodes! Not enough!

I love this show! My good friend who lives in Hertfordshire sent me some of them and I can't wait for more.

I don't know which is my favorites. Fat Fighters was pretty funny. Oh and I love Andy and Lou! Yer I know! LOL.

I let my 6 yrold watch some of it and he laughed his butt off! He likes Mr.Bean so I know this was right up his alley. He is the only one out all my children who has my sense of humor which is FINALLY a relief!

It could be but might be too Out There for mainstream audiences. The humour is pretty confronting and there's a lot of people it would either offend or who just wouldn't get it at all. But I am sure you can buy/rent the first 2 series on DVD, and like I say series 3 is just out on DVD but I have to say it's not as good as the first two. I agree that Little Britain and Mr Bean are polar opposites when it comes to the type of humour but if it floats yer boat.......
