The Prestige - Bale/Jackman
It's coming out in one month and the story seems like it's quite similar to The Illusionist.
Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine, David Bowie and that Johanssen woman.
The burning question is - Who is going to pick me up off the floor when I faint in the theatre aisle?

I saw the trailers for this one, looks real good and intense. Is magic in again?
Have you seen the illusionist yet? Man, that was an AWESOME movie, not so much about magic than a great, great love story (which will keep you guessing all the way to the fabulous end)

i just saw this movie at a sneak preview and have to say it was excellent!! and yes, ladies, christian bale is at his best - that accent just melts me right to the floor - and he and hugh jackman both do a very good job with their respective character. am totally going to see it again to feast my eyes and of course for the story is just fascinating. def check it out this weekend!

I'm not sure I'll notice that there's a movie playing. I'm bound to be irritated when those other pesky cast members take up Bale's screen time though. LOL. Man, that guy is HOT.

well i saw it; it was nice to sit back and watch i guess. a bit dull though and you have to keep track of details b/c Christopher Nolan is the director afterall (Memento!) but it was like kind of a silly topic and plotline and (spoilerish): I thought it was irrevelant to bring in a real life character Tesla and that whole plottwist of mumbo jumbo electricity crap...
oh and a bit spoiler-ish in white: if you love Christian Bale then you'll really love the fact that he has an identical twin in this : my fantasy!!!!

your spoiler was an important part in the book so it would have ruined the movie if it wouldn't have been included. i am also "relieved" that they kept your second spoiler in the movie too because i was wondering if they were going to change that for the movie.

There was a book? Good movie but a little too many plotlines for me!
