Default Favorite YouTube Videos or Channels That You're Into Right Now

I watch a lot of BeauTubers (just a catchphrase that caught on for beauty "gurus" that have Youtube channels. But I'm kind of bored with it and the whole group seems to have plateaued even before the coronavirus hit. I watch true crime and mystery ones (only during the daytime, I'm chickenshit). I watch some cooking ones (favorites are Gordon Ramsey, Ina Garten and Martha Stewart). I've been watching a ton of police videos, mostly politicians or some other celebrities acting reallllly badly.

What Youtube videos are you watching?

And sorry, this is totally out of boredom. It's easier for me to concentrate on a 20-30 minute Youtube video that a movie or TV series. I'm dying to watch Little Fires Everywhere but I don't have Hulu. And there's a movie called Hippopotamus (2020) that Mo was trying to help me find ...

Omg, I LOVE Bailey! I just "discovered" her a couple of weeks ago when she did a GRWM and talked about the Lori Vallow case. I loved her little whiteboard and she honestly explained it better than any other video I've seen. I'm pretty sure she didn't even finish the GRWM because she was so intent on the case. Her voice isn't grating (like some of those beauTubers) and she's soooo pretty. I definitely subscribed!

I will definitely check out Michelle Wang, I don't think I've ever come across her videos. Not to sound snobbish, but almost all of my skincare and makeup are considered "luxury". I used to watch Tati when she was still doing her WTF videos of crazy expensive makeup. She has since stopped those videos (the WTF was causing her to get demonetized (*eye roll*)), and she's been on my last nerve lately. Each video now has a like 10 minute part with her raving about her birdseed and those beauty puffs she just came out with). It also seems like she does drugstore makeup every other video. That's great and there's definitely a market for those kinds of videos, but EVERYBODY does them. I expected more from Tati, and I'm not alone.

The last two ... I've seen a few Mel Thompson videos. The other looks interesting but I've never seen her before (which is what I'm looking for).

This is what I'm looking for more of from the beauty community. It's a GRWM, no talking, and has a background song that sounds like it would be on Grey's Anatomy. And she's infectiously happy. I was actually smiling by the end of the video .... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92Ct9CfZ6xk Her name is Jaime Paige.

I have a lot to add, but yeah...I just discovered Bailey and love her! She's funny, too.

I've got a weird concoction of stuff I watch so I leave some links when I'm on my computer.

No judgement. I follow her too.

    Also Luke Towan:

I don't even build little dioramas, but I kind of want to after watching these.

and I like Baumgartner Fine Art Restoration:
    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvZ...9xgbbbdkiodPKQ
These are relaxing, and the guy is such a craftsman with an incredible range of skills.

and Ann Reardon's How to Cook That channel.
    https://www.youtube.com/user/howtocookthat
She does great debunking videos too that show why popular craft and cooking channels are showing things that are impossible just for clicks.

Basically, I like watching talented people make things.

You're all very highbrow compared to me, lol.

I discovered Paternity Court with Judge Lake - soooo addicting. My daughter is working from home and loves to hear it in the background.

True crime is also a staple, including, when I'm really hating people, criminals freaking out during their sentences. (I did mention low-brow, didn't I?)

My go-to happy place are panda videos. I love pandas so much.
