Default If You Could Change A Film's Ending...

Flashdance 1983 - Am I the only one who thinks she shouldn't have gotten the job? That performance in front of the judges was dreadful.
Avengers age of Ultron - Thanos does not get the gauntlet
Iron Man 3 - Tony Stark marries Pepper Potts

Love Story - Jenny lives or Oliver dies. I can't decide.

Joyeux Noel - What the front line soldiers started on that Christmas night spreads down all the lines of every front and eventually even spreads to the generals, and they all pack up and go home, leaving the family grievances for the family members themselves to settle. The Kaiser is shot and killed in a duel with Nicholas of Russia, who returns to St. Petersburg, exiles Rasputin and implements reforms to create a Constitutional Monarchy. Back in Germany, similar reforms are instituted under the Crown Prince, now Wilhelm III. Meanwhile, an obscure Austrian lance corporal of the Bavarian Army kills himself in despair at the dawning world peace. The United States, having never entered the war, continues its long adherence to isolationist policies and just stays the fuck out of shit. Except that, in the spirit of Christmas, all nations in the world give generously to those in need.

There Will Be Blood - I'm not sure what I would change it to, but "I drink your milkshake" ruined the entire film for me.

Cast Away. They should have never had Helen Hunt ( Kelly ) get married. I felt so bad for Tom Hanks (Chuck) when her was driving away

^^^ If Jack looked like that, she'd probably have held on much tighter.

Terms of Endearment - Debra Winger lives and lives happily ever after with her kids, Shirley MacLaine and Jack Nicholson get married and are happy grandparents, and that asshole Jeff Daniels dies instead.

    Sex and the City movie:

Carrie would NOT have ended up with Mr. Big. That was about the most unrealistic thing I've ever seen in my life. Like he's gonna fly off to Paris and walk the streets hunting her down.

    Goopy murderer!

I put my answer in spoiler form in case anyone wants to see it.

"Our Souls at Night" with Redford and Fonda, tv movie. They wound up together - but on the phone, not living together. Stupid, stupid ending. You make two 80 (extremely well dressed) year olds wind up together in a movie!
