Default Guess the titles of these movies based on symbols/drawing

So our local outdoor summer movie fest holds a contest where you have to guess the titles of the movies they'll show this season, based on the little icons they make to represent them.

I'm bad at this, so I need help.

I can only guess June 6 as Breakfast at Tiffany's; May 23 as Almost Famous.

Are there any criteria regarding the movies they show? Could July 18th be The Mexican (Brad Pitt movie about a gun)?

This is tricky! I'd guess July 11 is Deliverance and Sept 5 is Reservoir Dogs?

    June 13 = Being There
Sept 12 = a musketeers movie or Dangerous Liaisons

July 4: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
July 11: Back to the Future. Looks like Marty's vest.
    sept 12: Princess Bride

June 27th looks like the Joker's vest/tie. Batman?

    Aug 27th, Tree of Life?

Agree with all of these - was trying to remember where I knew the vest from.
Thought May 30 may have been zoolander, but Big fits better.
    Sept 5 - Sweeney Todd

These are difficult! Could June 20 be Skeleton Key or is that too obvious and too horrible of a movie?

The only other one I knew was July 4 -- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

These are hard. June 13th Edward Scissorhands? July 18th 3 AmIgos?

That's why I was wondering if there were there amy criteria, like all from a specific decade, Oscar nominated in any way, etc...

No real criteria, these are movies shown at outdoor venues with food trucks, people bring picnic blankets and beach chairs; it's just very beloved, feel-good movies, crowd pleasers that could be of any era.

I thought of Princess Bride for the last one too, but I thought they'd shown it the year or two before, and the icon was a 6-fingered glove. I might be wrong though.

Back to the Future sounds right, so does Batman for the vest.

    Sweeney Todd--of course, duh!

I'd never have guessed Tree of Life but it makes sense.

The glove for August 15 has me stumped. Speed Racer? The first one too--a girl in a swimsuit running upwards??

You guys guessed all I had already guessed, except I think June 27th is Annie Hall and August 15th is The Big Lebowski (bowling gloves I think, like Walter and Jesus wore).

    My guesses:

July 18 - The Three Amigos
    August 15 - Drive
    Sept 5 - Reservoir Dogs
Sept 12 - The Princess Bride

Stumped with the rest. I think you should come back and tell us which ones we got right!

I will, it's kind of killing me.

The open can and the cell phone have me all "wtf?"

They showed The Big Lebowski this past summer so I don't think that's it for the glove.

Also, could Aug 29th be The Other Sister? The one where Juliette Lewis and Giovanni Ribisi play a mentally challenged couple?

All I got is Breakfast at Tiffany's for June 6th
Karate kid (in japan) for Aug 12th
    Muskateers for Sept 12th
    Three amigos for July 18th
The Gift (with cate blanchett) for July 25th
I agree with fear and loathing for July 4th

    I suck at this
