Default New M. Night movie "Lady in the Water"

I must say that I'm so excited about this new movie. I love all of M Nights films. haven't been to the movies since The Village. Some people think he's not that good but, I must say that I always fall for his endings.

yeah well i hope its a lot better than The Villiage; that was the first time in my 15+ years of going to the movies that I wanted my money back since it was such a terrible predictable piece of crap!

anyhoo; i plan on seeing it too; even though i can stand the redhead or Paul Giomati

I didnt much care for unbreakable.. signs was just stupid (what kind of aliens invade a planet that's 79% water if water melts them?) and the village was cool, but you knew what was going on 20 mins into it..the ending wasnt much of a twist.

Sixth Sense was probably his best

sorry to highjack, but i looooooooooved Unbreakable only for Sam Jackson; he's the bomb.com! I especially loved when he went flying down the stairs breaking into a million pieces! That was awesome
he always adds a little freak to his roles; and this was one freaky deaky roll; i mean you gotta love that hairdo of his!

Loved the sixth sense, thought it was brilliant. Liked The Village a lot if only for the acting and actors that were in it. Signs was just dumb. Didn't care for it at all.

I would still go see one of his movies.

We enjoyed it. Was not a horror film like most people suspect. It was more of a fairy tale. He supposedly told this story to his children at bed time.
Ron Howard's daughter is a decent actress and looks like him.

^^ I still don't get it though. I thought it was pretty entertaining, but meant alot more than just what was on the surface.

Any other interpretations out there? (and...why did one of the first "guild" guys still have the "large" sticker on his golf shirt??)

His movies are a lot less scary if you say "Shamalamadingdong" after they announce his name

Also, why is everything "presented" by him? Did I miss the memo where we agreed he was some sort of genius?

I didn't notice the sticker! lol.

My take is in white below:

In this movie you have characters like in real life, living seemingly mundane lives, interacting but not fully realizing the importance of one anothers impact on each others lives, also a lesson of people getting to know one another and working together to improve. Everyone has a purpose of some kind even if it's not realized yet.

ugh yeah really!! when his movie ends it all of a sudden says in giant letters "Presented, written, directed, bla bla bla by M. Nikght Shamalanadingdong!" Its sickening; he's such an A-hole and i can sum of this movie in one word:

    STOOOOPID!

REALLY don't waste your 10 bucks.
