    Default The Blacklist on NBC

I watched this by accident tonight and now I'm intrigued, did anyone else watch?

I did, liked it. I still love James Spader even if he is a little pudgy.
When Liz found the hidden compartment in the floorboards that was totally unexpected.

I was interested in trying to catch this and ended up missing it.

I never was much attracted to blond men, but James Spader and his magnificent 80s mane (and bitchy voice) was the exception.

I LOVED this! Wow. I think her husband is a plant,a spy who was ordered to marry her so he can find out what she was doing after she got this job. She found the stuff and is going to start connecting te dots f she hasn't already. James Spader is terrific, but he could turn out to be her father.

^McJag that's what I was thinking Reddington could be daddy, that would explain his knowledge of her childhood and how he knew about the scar on her hand.

I loved the show ending with his trademark smirky grin, so Spader!

@Laurant I don't find Spader attractive I've always enjoyed his unique talent.

I guess I'm the only one who was expecting some more after the pilot was hyped up.

It was blatantly obvious that the FBI were leading the little girl to be kidnapped and the husband being shady.

However, I think I will stick with it a couple more episodes and see where it goes.

I'm going to go back and look, but the scar on her hand, was that the symbol marking on the chest she found under the floorboards? I think I recall it looking similar.

I tried because I love Spader, but it was too violent and I don't like CIA and terrorism subject matter. I wanted to like it to have a show to look forward to. It made me think of Clarice and Hannibal - (and OF COURSE I have never seen Silence of the Lambs) because I'm a wuss.

Too violent...never watch Sons of Anarchy...probably the most violent show on network television.

Anyone who missed it or wants to re-watch it and doesn't have On Demand, it's on NBC.com.

Don't worry, I don't watch anything but TCM, Will & Grace and Friends. I can't watch anything violent or the suggestion of violence because I relive it. Somebody's head falls off and that's all I can think about for hours.

I liked it a lot. I hope the show "smartens" up some though. The first scene with Spader and the woman, it just screamed "he's your dad", and I just thought "please don't make this a continuous story arc that spans two or three seasons". The kidnapping scene just irritated me no end as well. I hate when smart shows do stupid shit.

I finally caught it after an exhausting experience with NBC.com. James Spader made the whole show. I'm not feeling the FBI agent, Lizzie, that's probably his daughter. Her acting (and hair, because I'm perpetually superficial) were both unbelievable.

Anyone else watching tonight, too? I'm really enjoying this show and I almost never get into new stuff. James Spader is amazing. Every time I hear him say something snide, I hear him say it in this same voice:
