Michael C. Hall should have been nominated even though the last couple of seasons of Dexter have sucked ass.

Here's a more detailed list of nominees:

    2013 Emmy nominees

The 2013 Emmy nominees were announced at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood Thursday, July 18. "House of Cards'" Kate Mara was scheduled to join "Breaking Bad's" Aaron Paul in announcing the nominees but her flight experienced mechanical problems in Santa Fe late Wednesday night. Instead, host of this year's Emmys, Neil Patrick Harris, filled in saying, "Thanks to Kate Mara for getting me out of the house before my kids wake up kicking and screaming,"
Last year, Nick Offerman was unavailable to co-host the announcement because of weather-related travel delays, and Jimmy Kimmel filled in for him.

I wonder about the qualifiers for "guest actor" because Joan has been with Shameless in a capicity that I don't view as "guest"...

Hear fucking hear. These bitches can eat shit for ignoring Shameless. Especially in favor of the horrendous, anti-human Girls. Emmy Rossum puts shameless, talent=free narcissist Lena Dunham to shame. Dunham should be ASHAMED to stand at the podium at Emmy's expense. Fucker. fuckerfuckerfucker.

Thanks for the updated list, Bluebonnet. I was looking to see if Aaron Paul was nominated, and he was! *whee* I loved Jonathan Banks in BB too, though.

Cracked up over Adam Driver from Girls...that goofy fucker is the only reason to watch that show.

And YES I am with you guys on Shameless, WTF?!?! Nice to see Joan Cusack nominated, but I really don't understand why that show is always snubbed. And yes, Lena Dunham is just playing a fucked-up version of herself, Emmy is the bomb! (Although Girls is in the comedy category, so they wouldn't have competed...)

OH and I agree I want Laura Dern to win too. Soooooo pissed that they cancelled Enlightened!!

House of Cards is fantastic. Since it's a Netflix show, I'm pleasantly surprised to see it nominated. I watch very little comedy, I realize that after looking at this list. I watch Veep on occasion.
