    Default Pacific Rim preview trailer

Looks a little like Transformers. Maybe too much. But because Guillermo Del Toro directed it, I think it will be good.

Also wanted to mention that Charlie "Sons of Anarchy" Hunnam is the star and was totally unrecognizable to me until I looked on IMDB to see who played the main character. Idris Elba (nice accent) and another Del Toro and "Sons of Anarchy" alum, Ron Perlman, are in it, too. And Rinko Kikuchi looks hot.

OMG, that looks incredibly stupid, but I'll have to go watch it now.

I think this movie is going to do Elba a lot more justice (in terms of both screen time and making sense) than Prometheus.

It does look really bad. But I'm gonna watch the shit out of it. I want to be in an Idris and Hunnam sandwich.

Ever since I saw War of the Gargantuas as a wee tot, I can't stay away from big-scale monster movies. And I love Del Toro so much, so I have high hopes.
