I saw one episode. It's intriguing. I don't think they pushed back the date far enough, though. The 80's were full of mercenary spies, guys like Aldrich Ames who were in it for the money. If the show was 60's or 70's, it would be more believable that ideological spies were living among us. By the 80's most of those old red diaper babies were retired or fed up.

I missed the marathon, so commenting on the show as a whole is difficult. Maybe it's on Command? Might look into it further.

I disagree. They were ideological when they started but after living the good life and having American kids, both are starting to have doubts. I think the 80s is a great setting for that.

Okay, I'm going to have to catch this show again, since I'm not really sure who the main couple is. If done right, it could be very interesting.

Love this show! Esp. the guy who plays Philip (the husband) he's so expressive. His acting is unbelievable. I think the 80s are recreated fairly well from what I remember of them. I was very small. Jealous of how hot Keri Russel manages to look in those high-waisted jeans.

I called up this first episode On Demand. NOW I get it. *derp* It's a really interesting show! Keri Russell is great, and how unfair is it that she can still believably play this role from 16 years old to 40? Bitch. I love delicious little character revealing moments - like when the husband threw away the photo of his true love when he officially meets Keri for their assignment.

How fascinating will it be when the show delves into how much their kids know, because all that stuff can't be completely hidden from their children.

I'm hooked. I'm totally putting this on my DVR.

Just started on Aus free to air. Interesting. I wasn't keen when I saw the ads, because I didn't realise from the ads that it was set in the 80s. I was thinking "KGB officers living in 2013 America - yeah right!"

But this make more sense. And interesting. Watching the first episode now. Will give it another go when the next one is on.
