Tuesday Night Book Club
It's on CBS tonight. I think it's suppose to be like Real Housewife of OC. Have anyone ever watched it before. I want to know whether or not to set my tivo for it

I don't know anything about it, but Yahoo has it in with tonight's top TV picks. This is their description

There's something about the way that "Tuesday Night Book Club" is shot that makes you think it's a fully-scripted prime time soap -- am I right? I'm sure there's an element of "planning" (for lack of a better word) that goes on with the show, just like any other reality series, but it still strikes me as odd. Oh well -- no harm, no foul, I suppose. Tonight, housewife Lynn trains for a bodybuilding competition while Tina determines how to better balance her work, home and personal life. Later, Sara has second thoughts about starting her own business.

Jaime does my hair. She's the whiner who left her hubby. I had to watch it last week because she's an acquaintance.
It's way dumber that Real Housewives of the OC if that's possible and most women of Scottsdale are NOT like that!

I had to watch too because I also live in Scottsdale. And I'm not too surprised her marriage didn't work considering she's been dating a friend of mine on and off for two years!
But I'm surprised Kristi that you say most women of Scottsdale aren't like that.

Oh boy hmm welll..... i watched it last night and was intrigued. I like the way it's filmed. I find the gals, though very shallow, have honest problems. I felt that any minute it was going to turn into soft porn.
The pretty countryside of Scottsdale is unlike most of the US and I find if not for any other reason, I'll watch just to see the homes and landscape (natural and designed).

Well I guess the ones that are aren't too hard to find. Most of the bars have what I like to call "Scottsdiggers" "$30,000 Millionaires". I don't really do the clubs anymore.
Technically I live closer to Carefree/Cave Creek but I work in Scottsdale.

What's a Scottsdigger or $30,000 Millionaire?
I am intrigued by this show...I can't quite figure it out yet, though.
All of the women are shallow whiners, though. They have such good lives and they can't even see it.

I want to know what a Scottsdigger of $30,000 Millionaire is too! Is it someone who's golddigging, but after not that much money? Like she's after a man who makes $30,000 and expects to be a kept housewife? Cause that would be funny.
I imagine that many times people get complacent and lose appreciation of how good they have it, since they've never been truly destitute or down and out, or it's been so long they can't remember it.
But then again, they could be just silly, spoiled, self-entitled bitches regardless of life experience.

Re: Tuesday Night Book Club
Scottsdigger-a gold digger that lives in Scottsdale.
$30,000 millionaire. A guy who hangs out at the upscale clubs, wears designer clothes and drives a nice car to pick up the Scottsdiggers but who actually makes $30,000 a year, rents and has debt up to his eyeballs.
