I wouldn't praise "Shameless" (or their stars) at the expense of "Girls" - or vice versa. Both of them are groundbreaking shows and they should get an armful of awards and nominations to encourage writers and producers to experiment more. Also, I disagree with comparing Emmy Rossum (who is excellent in Shameless, but is only the lead actress) to Lena Dunham -- who is lead actress, producer, director, writer and creator of Girls.

Nothing for The Walking Dead or Hell on Wheels?? Both had excellent seasons, imo. Also snubbed were Justified and Sons of Anarchy.

well, as groundbreaking as a remake can be, anyway.

Yeah I was surprised that there were no noms for either "The Walking Dead" or "Sons of Anarchy." Andrew Lincoln did an amazing job IMO on TWD. Both had really good seasons this year.

Never! No one is a better actor than Susan Lucci -- kitten voice, hair shake, body shimmy, thigh rub -- rinse and repeat.

    Gotta love LaLucci!!!
