The awards were pretty blah this year. What is all the hype with the Artist? I guess I don't know many people that will go out of their way to see a black and white and silent movie today. I sure hope it doesn't start a trend. It must have been showing in a limited market, because it sure wasn't around this area.

I would like to try and see The Iron Lady, Albert Noobs and My Week with Marilyn sometime soon. I did see The Tree of Life several months back,...and I thought it was horrible. I didn't get all the nature scenes plugged into it for 15 minutes at a whack.

maybe you should see it before deciding it's a bad idea.

I just don't care for that genre of movies. I have watched plenty growing up and they just don't do anything for me.

I agree the Oscars were dull this year, and the nominations weren't that exciting.

And, why wasn't Tilda Swinton nominated for her work in We Need to Talk About Kevin.
She could've won the best actress award -

-So what did you think of Glenn Close?
    -Oh, I loved him!
What if Superman is psychotic and everyone can see that he's Clark Kent but they just play along not to set him off?
